Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Debra 'Debbie' Sue Turner Carruth passed away on September 19, 2013 in Coppell, Texas of Melanoma Cancer. Debbie was born in Canyon, Texas on February 22, 1959 to RB and Margaret Turner. She married Joe Carruth on November 7, 2003. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a caring friend and a devoted wife to Joe. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lawson Turner, and two angel babies, Katherine Lee and Rebecca Sue. Survivors include her husband, Joe Carruth of Canyon; daughters, Sharry Putnam and husband Dean Putnam of Wylie, TX, Carrie Withers and husband Ron Withers, Jr. of Louisa, VA and Amanda Smith and husband Steven Smith of Little Elm, TX; grandchildren, Cathrynn, Abbygale, Sophia, Mercedes and Bella; sisters, Shirley Holeman of Canyon and Gail Mosley of Amarillo; brothers, Terry Turner of Bellvue, TX, Bill Turner and Harvey Turner of Roundup, MT, Bob Turner of Thermopolis, WY, and Hoyt Turner of Cody, WY and many other loving family members and dear friends. The family suggests memorials be to Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation in care of Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 550 East Ann Arbor, Dallas, TX 75216.
