Davolyn Davidchik

Davolyn Davidchik, 62, of Canyon, died Thursday, January 4, 2018.  Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Rick Enns, pastor of First United Methodist, officiating. Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Texas. Davolyn Davidchik was born on July 10, 1955 in Sherman to JoAnne and David Davidchik.  She received her Masters and LPC in Counseling from West Texas State University and was employed by Texas Panhandle Centers Behavioral and Developmental Health.  Davolyn enjoyed drawing and had a love for animals.  She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, JoAnne Davidchik of Canyon; two sisters, Laurie Cooke and husband, Jay of Richardson and Keri Beth Cleavinger of Canyon; and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association, 110 Mesa Park Dr., Ste 250, El Paso, TX 79912 or a favorite charity.
