David Hoffman

David Hoffman "Super Dave", 68, of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Living Water Christian Fellowship in Canyon with Shane Nease, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.

David was born on November 5, 1954 in Enid, Oklahoma to John and Velois Hoffman. He graduated from Garber High School in 1972. On March 29, 1975, he married Cynthia Buller and they had two sons, Dustin and Derek.

He married Donna Gleisberg on February 22, 2003.

David had a love for fishing and camping, but family time was his favorite event. He always made time for his grandkids' various events and lake trips with his extended family.

David was a member of GEAPS and he spent his life in the grain industry. He had a green thumb especially with planting and growing trees. He was a youth leader in Boy Scouts and was looking forward to seeing his grandsons reach the Eagle rank.

He felt his time on earth was great because of the boys he raised.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna, a sister, Beverly Payne, nieces, Miranda Payne, Bailey Youngblood, and Brooklyn Hope Jared, and nephew, Justin Heinrich.

Survivors include his sons, Dustin Hoffman and wife, Melinda, Derek Hoffman and wife, Carrie; stepchildren, Andrew, Melissa, and Chris Gleisberg; grandchildren, William and Samantha Hoffman, Grady and Audrey Hoffman, AJ, Misty, and Kyla Withrow; siblings, Daniel Hoffman and wife, Cheryl of Yukon, OK, Linda Heinrich and husband, Joe of Billings, OK, Terry Hoffman and wife, Brenda, of Hunter, OK, and Larry Hoffman and wife, Julie of Garber, OK; and sixteen nieces and nephews.
