David Graham

December 31, 1969 — September 20, 2005

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 23, 2005 at Brooks Chapel with Pastor Shane Nease, pastor of Living Water Christian Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. David was the son of Charles and Lillian Graham of Canyon, Texas. He graduated from Canyon High School and received a degree in Theater Arts from West Texas State College. He received recognition as an Eagle Scout at the Boy Scouts Jamboree in New York City. He served a two year term in the U. S. Air Force at Minot / AFB / N.D. David was an avid Ham Radio operator and was very proud of his call KB5-EDP. He so enjoyed his time spent with his Ham buddies. He was also a member of the Amarillo Astronomy Club and time spent with his telescope and club members was also very enjoyable for him. David"s music and movie collections were treasures that brought hours of enjoyment to him. The 50"s, 60"s, and John Wayne were his favorites. Photography was a favorite hobby also. David had a kind heart. He read his Bible daily and always wished the best for his family and friends. "HAVE A GOOD DAY" could be heard over the Ham radio waves and to those he met daily. Survivors include his sister, Wanda Richardson, of Allen, Texas; one nephew, Chip Richardson, of South Haven, Miss.; one niece, Amanda Duckworth, of Princeton, TX; his aunt, Norma LeClaire, of Atherton, CA; and his uncle, Buddy Congdon, of Brookhaven, Miss. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
