Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Freedom Fellowship Church in Canyon with Pastor Darren Dye officiating. David Joseph Gisch was born December 18,1992, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Warren Gisch and JoAnna Beagle Gisch. David grew up in Canyon, Texas and attended Canyon Public Schools. He received his Assoc. Degree from Amarillo College in Mass Comm/Public Relations in Dec. 2012 with honors. He attended WTAMU as a Mass Comm/Public Relations major in 2013. He excelled academically and won several awards. David grew up attending Freedom Fellowship Church and more recently Pinnacle Church in Amarillo. He gave his life to God and was baptized at age 8. David was an only child, but formed many close friendships through his school and career years. David started working by age 10 doing odd jobs for neighbors, friends and grandparents. David had to save his own money to buy his Xbox, games and his first computer. He developed a love of cooking from his father and Grandmother Beagle. He, and the love of his life and soulmate, Kendal, cooked together all the time. They were always in the kitchen at Grandpa Beagle's cooking up new, creative recipes. David and Kendal started their business, GischMedia, in 2013. The business was started in "Grandpa's" back sunroom as their office. They complimented each other in their media & marketing skills. As they said - what one couldn't do, the other one could. They told David's mother that they always wanted to work together as a team, even if they went to work for someone else in the future. David was a caretaker by nature having helped care for his ill father from age 7. His love, Kendal, was also a caretaker and they shared those God-given gifts by taking care of and living with "Grandpa." He loved reading, podcasts -- anything where he could learn new skills & information. He and Kendal became friends at Amarillo College then started dating in May 2012. They knew they were meant for each other within 6 weeks. They married on March 31, 2015 at Pinnacle Church. David was preceded in death by his father, Warren Gisch, his Grandmother Beagle, and his maternal uncles, Eric and Martin. He will be greatly missed by his Grandpa, mother, and many friends, schoolmates and co-workers. He is survived by his mother, JoAnna Gisch, and his Grandfather, Joe Beagle, also by beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; special and close friends AJ, Trey, Christian, Hanna N. and cousin/uncle Gary.
