David Burrell

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Dreamland Cemetery, conducted by Canyon Masonic Lodge #730. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. David Burrell was born on May 28, 1948 in Amarillo to Glynn and Jean Boyd Burrell. He graduated from WTAMU and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, and son. Survivors include his wife, Lisha Burrell, of the home; a son, Christopher Burrell, also of the home; a daughter, Rachel Newman, of Corpus Christi; his parents, Glynn and Jean Burrell, of Amarillo; and a brother, Johnny Burrell, of Panhandle. The family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Children"s Home, PO Box 7448, Amarillo, Texas 79114.
