Daniel Mendoza

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Canyon with Rev. John Dalton officiating. Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Deacon Gabe Rivas officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Daniel Mendoza was born on December 11, 1937 in Burnet, TX to Daniel and Romalda Cruz Mendoza. He married Lupe Rubio and was a self-employed welder. He attended St. Ann's Catholic Church. Daniel loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Melissa Rico. Survivors include his wife, Lupe, of the home; three daughters, Lupe Rios and husband, Joe, of Canyon, Connie Zamora and husband, Mario, of Amarillo, and Elsie Mendoza, of Amarillo; two sons, Danny Mendoza and wife, Mary, of Sweetwater, and Rudy Mendoza and wife, Norma, of Canyon; twelve grandchildren, Amy Mendoza, Dolores Nunez, Carlos Cueller, Jonas Rios, April Bautista, Marie Bautista, Jonathan Rios, Cassondra Mendoza, Ashley Bautista, Abrianna Martinez, Daniel Thomas Mendoza, and Mingo Mendoza; 22 great grandchildren; three brothers, Joe, Julian, and Nemensio Mendoza; and eight sisters, Ramona, Maria, Fautina, Victoria, Cruz, Alicia, Molly, and Lupe.
