Dane Earl Ballew, 72, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Dane was born June 25, 1950 to Burton and Gerela Allen Ballew in Oxnard, California. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.
Dane was a mellow and gentle man who loved to talk. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music especially Ozzy Osborne. He loved his two daughters more than anything.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Melisha, his mother, and his father.
Survivors include his two daughters, Dana Hill and Carla Wilson; two sisters, Debbie and Kathryn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-grandson on the way.
The family suggests memorials be to Wounded Warrior Project @ woundedwarriorproject.org.
