Dale Christie

Memorial services will be at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Shane Nease, pastor of Living Water Christian Fellowship, officiating. Dale Christie was born on November 26, 1940 in Lubbock to B.B. and Gladys Goodjoin Christie. He went through school in New Deal and was a member of Summerfield Baptist Church. He loved farming in Friona and enjoyed motorcycles and restoring old cars. Dale was an avid supporter of the Hereford Whiteface athletics. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Darnell, in 2013. Survivors include two sons, Corey Christie and wife, Amy, of Waco and Robbie Christie and wife, Emily, of Canyon; a daughter, Becky McDonald and husband, Jerry, of Amarillo; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. The family suggests memorials be to Samaritan Hospice, 426 N. Main St., Suite E, Hereford, Texas 79045.
