Curtis Lee Reed, 51, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Light refreshments will be served following the visitation at the Ranch House Cafe, 810 23rd St., Canyon, TX.
Curtis was born on February 2, 1970 in Pampa to Jerell Lynn and Christa (Brantwein) Reed. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1988 and was a very talented autobody refinisher. His girls were his greatest joy. He will be lovingly remembered for his big heart and his honesty, and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Christa Reed of Lakeview, TX; sister, Teresa Henry of Dumas; brother, Lynn Reed of Pampa; former wife, Kim Reed of Canyon; and daughters, Amber and Jordyn Reed of Canyon.
The family suggests memorials be to the Diabetes Foundation of the High Plains, 1400 S. Coulter St., Amarillo, TX 79106.
