Cora Lee 'Sue' Hopson Brock

Cora Lee 'Sue' Hopson Brock, 93, of Canyon, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Viewing will be from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.
Cora Lee 'Sue' was born on June 13, 1927 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Alfred and Lydia Hopson. She married Kenneth Brock and they returned to Canyon from Altus, Oklahoma in 1978. She was a Financial Aide Officer at West Texas State University (now WTAMU) for many years. She was a homemaker and was an assistant Boy Scout leader for her boys.
Cora Lee 'Sue' had a passion for gardening and loved watching anything sports, including her sons and grandchildren and especially the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved visiting the Colorado mountains.
Cora Lee 'Sue' was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jean McClure and Connie Allterie, and one brother, Nathan Hopson. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Brock; two sons, Keith and Kirk Brock; four grandchildren who lovingly called her 'Bucko', Ellen, Keaton, Allyson, and Kolton Brock; and a daughter-in-law, Alexis Brock.
