Clifton R. Lee, 80, of Canyon, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Dreamland Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Living Water Christian Fellowship with Shane Nease, pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Brooks Chapel.
Clifton was born on October 31, 1944 in Wellington to Carroll Raymond and Osa Agnes (Boyles) Lee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1963 to 1967, during the Vietnam War. He married Kathy Davis on September 16, 1989 in Amarillo, and they were married for almost 30 years before she preceded him in death on April 11, 2019. They moved to Canyon in 1999 and were faithful members of Living Water Christian Fellowship. He retired from Pantex after 23 ½ years.
Clifton enjoyed woodworking and could repair anything. He had a passion for his hot rods and his love for his dog, Missy, came second only to his love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he adored spending time with.
Clifton was also preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter, Amber Linville, four brothers, Eddie Joe 'Jody' Lee, Bobby Ray Lee, Carroll Wayne 'Doe Doe' Lee, and Gary Franklin Lee, and a sister, Rosa Fleming.
Survivors include his son, Shane Lee and wife, Keisha of Silverton; daughter, Ami Lynn of Silverton; stepdaughters, Nicole Miller and husband, Charlie of Odessa, and Reagan Tuman and husband, Ron of Lemoore, CA; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three siblings, Jerry Lee of Amarillo, Pat Roberson and Beverly Ray both of Wellington.
