CLEMMIE L. CASTEEL, 74, of Canyon died Thursday, June 20, 2002. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church of Canyon. Burial will be in Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas, Monday, June 24, 2002 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Tom Peel officiating. Clemmie L. Casteel was born November 10, 1927 in Grayson County, Texas to Rich and Alice Richards Reedy. She graduated from Collinsville High School. She married Bill Casteel in Collinsville in 1952. She lived in Piolet Point, Texas for 15 years, moved to Cooper, Texas for 5 years then moving to Canyon in 1973. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She was active in the PTA in Canyon and Randall County Democratic Club. She was the Childrens Cordinator at the First United Methodist Church and taught a class in the childrens department. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death my one sister and seven brothers. Survivors include her husband, Bill Casteel, of the home; one son, Brian Thomas, and wife Amy Lynn, of Leander, Texas; one sister, Alpha Lou Bass, of Hurst, Texas; and one grandchild, Hannah Olivia Casteel.
