Cleao Caldwell

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. George Hamontree Jr., First Baptist Church, officiating. Cleao Caldwell was born on December 1, 1914 in Hentennie, Oklahoma to George and Fanny Baker Reed. In 1936 she married L.D. Caldwell in Childress, Texas. Cleao has lived in Canyon since 1952 and was a police officer for the Canyon Police Deaprtment. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by two children, George D. Caldwell, of Canyon, and Sheila D. Hargesheimer, of Amarillo; a sister, Veldean Davis, of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and five great great grandchild.
