Clara Schulte

Services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 11, 2003 Holy Name Catholic Church of Happy with Msgr. Mario Stortz, retired Diocese of Amarillo, and Rev. John Joseph Kodankandath, pastor of Holy Name Catholic Church, officiating. Rosary will be at 7:30 PM on Sunday, August 10 at HappyA???s Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Happy Catholic Cemetery. Clara Schulte was born on August 25, 1916 south of Happy, Texas. She is the last surviving child of Ludwig and Barbara Irlbeck who were pioneers in Happy since 1910. She married Carl Herman Schulte on June 30, 1936. They were married sixty years before his death in 1996. Mrs. Schulte was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and St. AnnA???s Alter Society. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, four sisters, and five brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Lemons, of Lubbock, and Rose Braddock, of Nazareth; one son, David Schulte, of Happy; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Holy Name Catholic Church 317 W. Main Happy, Texas 79042.
