Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church of Canyon with Rev. Calvin Harfst officiating. Private interment will be in Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Brooks Chapel. Private Interment, Dreamland Cemetery. Claire R. Kuehn was born November 4, 1926 in Waxahachie, Texas to Ralph and Florine V. Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin ""Sonny"" Kuehn, of Canyon, two sisters, Marilyn Baker of Midland, and Judith Ann Hall of Amarillo, and brother, Joe Keith Carruth of Amarillo. Claire's family express their gratitude to those who cared for her during the final months of her life, her many friends who made her life joyful an her colleagues that made her work a pleasant experience. She will be missed. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Paige Carruth of Amarillo; two sons, Ralph R. Kuehn of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Charles E. Kuehn of Canyon; and by numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, Claire asks memorial dedications be made to your individual favorite charity.
