Cindy Swiontek

Cindy Crist Swiontek, 42, of Canyon, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. David Lowrie, pastor of First Baptist Church of Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery, Hereford, Texas. Cindy was born on June 21, 1960 in Canyon to Del and Doris Stanfield Crist. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1978 and attended West Texas State University. Her favorite hobby was horse training and riding. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, the 4H Horse Club, and the WTSU Horsemanship Club. She was employed by Dish Network in Amarillo and was recently employed by Backyard Adventures. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon. She was preceded in death by her father, Del M. Crist, in 2001, and one sister, Tracy Adams, in 2002. Survivors include her mother, Doris Crist, of Canyon; one brother, Mark Crist, of Tulia; one nephew, Jon Nichols, of Canyon; and one niece, Misty Adams, of Canyon.
