Chance Levi Geiger (Honorary member of the Mercado family), 29, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.
Chance was born on August 17, 1994 in Amarillo. He was a 2012 graduate of Randall High School. Chance held a variety of jobs including Crunch, a truck driver, a bouncer at Hoot's, and was currently working at the Hot Tub Doctor during the day.
In the evenings, Chance trained and competed in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu for 7 ½ years, achieving the rank of Purple Belt. He spread smiles and laughter across the mats day in and day out.
Chance will be lovingly remembered as an honest, kindhearted, and trustworthy friend. He was very respectful and loved by many friends. He loved animals of all kinds, loved to eat, and enjoyed watching Sponge Bob Square Pants and Star Wars.
Chance is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Geiger.
He leaves behind those that loved him dearly, Chelsea Geiger and Cheyenne Geiger and their children, Jesse and Mirosalva Mercado, Angel Mercado and Carolyn Gonzalez, Aric Mercado and Madison Harrell, Dylan Mercado and Julia Parrot, and his Shredder's MMA Jui-Jitsu family.
