Catherine was born on May 10, 1938 in Macel, Mississippi to Alvin and Ollie (Browning) Hitt and graduated from West Tallahatchie High School. Catherine married Vincent Marasco on October 12, 1959.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Anthony Hitt, and a stepdaughter, Josephine Clayton.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent Marasco; two daughters, Vicki Marasco and Dolores Torres; son, Vincent 'Sonny' Marasco; stepdaughter, Rose Marie Cochran; brother, Bruce Bradsher and wife, Carla and nephew, Matthew Bradsher; twelve grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and one on the way; and 3 great, great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
