Carlos Hernandez

Services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Dale Travis, pastor of Family Life Fellowship, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Carlos Hernandez was born on May 23, 1988 in Amarillo to Juan and Norma Baldivia Hernandez. He graduated from Canyon High School in 2007 and was a member of the football team. He was a friend and helper to everyone and a wonderful son, grandson and father. Survivors include his parents, Juan, Jr. III and Norma Hernandez, of Canyon; a brother, Emmanuel J. Hernandez, of Canyon; a daughter, Bonnie Jordan Lillie Hernandez, of Canyon; grandparents, Minnie Hughes, of Dallas, Duane Hughes, of Dallas, Juan Hernandez, Jr. II, of Pharr, TX, and Alices Zapata, of Amarillo; fiance, Ellery Dirickson, of Canyon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family suggests memorials be to the Carlos Hernandez Memorial Scholarship Fund, % Wells Fargo Bank, 2111 4th Avenue, Canyon, Texas 79015.
