Carl Bryan

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the United Methodist Church of Happy with Larry Harvey and Tom Stribling officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Happy"s Memorial Chapel. Burial is at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Carl Bryan was born on June 23, 1934 to Bonnie and Ralph Bryan. He attended Happy Schools and graduated from Farley, New Mexico. He married Gail Knox at Littlefield in 2000. He was a farmer and rancher, and he owned and operated Ideal Cattle Company until 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bryan, in 1997, and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Gail Bryan, of Amarillo; five children, Rowdy Bryan and wife, JoAnn, of Happy, Bonnie Bryan, of Olton, Kirk Bryan, of Austin, Tommy Pittillo, of Amarillo, and Melissa Marshall, of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Dan Bryan, of Clayton, NM; a sister, Helen Bearden, of Plainview; and eight grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Happy Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 216, Happy, Texas 79042.
