Candy Perez

Candy Perez, 49, of Canyon, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Viewing will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Brooks Chapel with Joel Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery.

Candy was a beautiful, strong-spirited, hard-working, and educated single mother. She served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and was stationed in England. Once out, Candy finished college and got her BA when her only child and daughter, Emma Perez, was just 2. She got to see Spain, Scotland, Ireland, Paris, and Amsterdam, all which she loved very much and held the memories deep in her heart. Candy loved music and enjoyed jamming out, spending time, and doing arts and crafts with her daughter. Candy was a very kind-hearted and generous person who always did her best to offer anyone anything regardless, because, to her, money was never a problem because she was blessed! She worked hard for 12+ years every day at the VA in the logistics department and ordered engineering supplies. She managed to provide everything for herself and her daughter all on her own, including buying a beautiful house three years ago. Candy was loved by many and was a pleasure to have known; I'm positive she impacted many lives. May her memory live on!
