Cally Brooke Hightower

November 19, 1971 — October 10, 2025

Cally Brooke Hightower, age 53, of Canyon, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2025. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by loved ones. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Pathpoint Fellowship Church in Amarillo with George Aleman, care pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Cally was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, and grew up in and around Oklahoma City. She graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1990 and later attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where she studied Sociology. Cally was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She spent her life caring for others — both her family and the many children she loved through her work in Mother's Day Out programs. Her gentle heart, bright smile, and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A fun-loving and faith-filled woman, Cally found happiness in the simple moments — spending time with her family, going to the lake and fishing, and visiting Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, one of her favorite places. She also immensely enjoyed cheering for her favorite team, the Oklahoma Sooners. She was a proud member of Pathpoint Fellowship Church in Amarillo, where her faith continued to grow and shine. Of all the blessings in her life, her greatest joy was being Brinley's mom. Watching her daughter grow up and compete in softball filled Cally's heart with pride and gratitude every single day. Cally is survived by her husband, Thomas Hightower, and their daughter, Brinley Hightower, both of Canyon; and by her parents, Richard and Vicky Grimes, of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Meredith and Maxine Kirk. She is also lovingly remembered by family in Oklahoma, Texas, and Georgia, and by the many friends whose lives she brightened with her laughter, kindness, and faith. Cally's light will continue to shine through the love she shared and the memories she created. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and in the presence of her Savior.
