Bryce Norwood

Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gayle Bowen and Rev. David Lowrie officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Mr. Norwood was born on February 22, 1921 in Danville, Arkansas to William and Susan Hunt Norwood. He married Geneva Smith at Chickasha, Oklahoma on December 21, 1941. She preceded him in death in 1997. He farmed in the New Deal Community for thirty years and retired in 1983 and moved to Canyon. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon. Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca Goebel, of Abernathy, Glenda Wilkerson and Suzan Norwood, both of Canyon; one sister, Eudell Prather, of Canyon; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Amarillo Area Parkinson"s Association, PO Box 19721, Amarillo, Texas 79114 or Raise the Flag Fund at Prairie House Living Center, 1301 Mesa Dr., Plainview, Texas 79072.
