Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Hillside Christian Church with Johnathan Mast, officiating. Private interment at Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Brian Gregory Lair was born December 30, 1982 in Amarillo to Greg and Marshi Lair. He graduated from Canyon High School in 2001 and then from Northwood University in Michigan in 2005 with a Bachelor"s Degree in Automotive and Retail Management. He also graduated from the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy and furthered his studies in the automobile industry with GMAC in Michigan and with Toyota in Germany. After graduating, Brian spent time in the Dallas area learning his trade in the automobile industry in preparation of becoming a partner with his father at Greg Lair Buick GMC. He and his father became partners in 2007. Brian was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2008, and fought a long hard battle for two and a half years. Please visit his blog at www.brianlair.blogspot.com. On September 4, 2010 Brian married the love of his life, Shea Lowe, in Gruver, Texas. Brian"s passions were snow skiing, drag racing with his Dad, and God. He was a member of the Red River Ski Team, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Spirit Wind, and Hillside Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Shea; parents, Greg and Marshi Lair, of Canyon; sisters, Melissa and Abby Lair; grandmothers, Winnie Fred Lair, of Canyon, Bettye Clark, of Amarillo; a host of loving uncles, aunts, and cousins; parents-in-law, Buddy and Marsha Lowe, of Gruver; brother and sister-in-laws, Chip and Cori Cox, of Fort Worth, Aaron and Bryn Weller, of Gruver; and four very special nieces and nephews, Chloe and Campbell Cox, and Cooper and Beck Weller. The family suggests memorials be made to the Brian Lair Memorial Fund at Happy State Bank for the advancement of brain cancer research or to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
