Bobby Van Dyke

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Sherman Eastland, Chaplain at Northwest Texas Hospital, officiating. Bobby Ray Van Dyke was born on April 5, 1939 to James and Cora Ruth Burton Van Dyke in Matador, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 through 1963. He married Ishbel Ross in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968. Bobby was employed by Owens Corning for 22 years, retiring in 2001. He has lived in Randall County for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Russell, R.E., J.C., and Billy Van Dyke. Survivors include his wife, Ishbel Van Dyke, of the home; two daughters, Maureen Moseley and husband, Jay, of Canadian, Texas and Cheryl Van Dyke, of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters, Helen Trammell, of Mesa, Arizona, Juanita Mayo, of Tucson, Arizona, and Onita Reeves, of Willcox, Arizona; and a special friend, John Schnatz , of Amarillo.
