Blanche Nesteby

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Blanche Nesteby was born on November 25, 1924 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to Ernest and Mary Hudson Godfrey. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married Ernest Nesteby at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 1955. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles E. Shores, in 2002, one sister, Alice Moore, and one brother, Carl Godfrey. Survivors include her husband, Ernest L. Nesteby, of the home; two daughters, Shirley Ann Blakley, of Canyon, and Linda Bennett, of Oklahoma City, OK; one son, Gary Nesteby, of Bruceville, TX; two sisters, Flossie Trotter, of Bolder, CO, and Sally Smith, of Joplin, MO; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Big Brothers / Big Sisters.
