Blaine Overton

Blaine Overton, 30, of Canyon, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Canyon with a memorial service to follow.

Blaine was born on December 6, 1991 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was a 2011 graduate of Canyon High School, where he was #64 on the Canyon Eagle Football team. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for J. Lee Milligan and was devoted to his job.

Blaine had a huge heart and was a loyal friend who would do anything for anybody. He enjoyed shooting, working on his truck, hanging out with friends, and most importantly, spending time with his son. Blaine was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Blaine was preceded in death by all his grandparents. Survivors include his son, Achilles Blaine Overton; his mother, Holly Lewallen of Canyon; brother, Travis Lewallen and fiancé, Sonja Young, of Canyon; nieces that he loved dearly, Serenity Young and Mikeala Lewallen; brothers, Joshua Overton and Trenton Overton, both of Kansas City, KS; sister, Alyssa Overton; uncle, Doug Lewallen and wife, Brenda; aunt, Rebecca Overton-Ogaga, all of Kansas City, KS; cousins, Lindsey Davis, Lauren Ward, Dalton Lewallen, and Onri Anderson; and a host of really good friends.
