Beverly Prestidge

Beverly Prestidge, 62 of Canyon passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with David Lowrie, officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, Texas. Beverly was born on December 3, 1955 in Brownwood to G. P. and Bettye Lee. She graduated from Lefors High School in 1974. On February 19, 1994, she married Ken Prestidge in Clarendon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lefors. Beverly loved cooking for her family and going on Harley rides with her husband. She adored her grandchildren, was a loving mother, and was known for her sweet and loving spirit. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ken, her parents, and two brothers. Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Ashley Fronterhouse of Borger and Niki Prestidge of Washington D.C.; son, Shawn Prestidge of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, Kenzie, Zach, Kaylee, Dylan, Kinnlee, Wyatt, Waelynn, Emma, Bradan, and Conner Jaxon; one great-grandchild, Ensleigh; three sisters, Mary Kay Nickel of Lefors, Vickie Nelson of Higgins, and Judy Hix of Canyon; a special cousin, Roy Alderson of Lefors; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
