Betty Lindsey

Betty Lindsey, 92, of Canyon passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Canyon, Texas.  Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 22 at Brooks Chapel with Lyle Jones, Elder in the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating.  Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon.  Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.  Betty was born November 21, 1925 in Bernie, Missouri to James and Janie Brown.  She married Donald Lindsey on December 30, 1942 in Buttonwillow, California and excelled at being a homemaker for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald; sons David Lindsey and Jim Lindsey; and a grandson Jake Lindsey. She is survived by her daughter Donna Lopez of Kyle, TX; and sons Dale Lindsey of Georgetown, TX and Robbie Lindsey of Prairie Grove AR; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
