Betty Kindrick

Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 19, 2007 at The Church at Quail Creek with Rev. Dale Moreland officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Betty Kindrick was born on June 17, 1937 in Hodgensville, KY to William M. and Alice Marie Miles Thomason. Ms. Kindrick moved to Amarillo in 1958 from Wellington, TX. She was a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church and an employee of the Clements Unit where she worked as a prison guard. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Johnston, of Maine, Connie "Bible" Brisby, of Oklahoma City, OK, Joy Kindrick Watkins, of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Ron Maynard, of Phoenix, AZ, J.R. Kindrick, of Amarillo; two brothers, A.C. Thomason, of Lexington, KY, Bill Thomason, of Elizabethtown, KY; three sisters, June Wathen, of Fairdale, KY, Cathy Anthony, of Flaherty, KY, Norma Stotts, of Fairdale, KY; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
