Betty Blasingame

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Brooks Chapel with Pastor Larry Dunlap, minister of Valley View Church of the Nazarene, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery, Wayside, Texas. Betty Marie Blasingame was born on November 26, 1941 to Reuben and Ada Moore Rogers. She worked for many years as janitor at Canyon High School. She married Sherill Blasingame in Amarillo. Betty enjoyed getting together with her friends and loved watching her 'stories' and sleep overs with her granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, an infant sibling, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia McDaniel and husband, Jimmy; her son, Bobby Tollett and wife, Christi; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Rogers and Joe Lee Rogers and wife, Peggy; sister, Mary Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.
