Bertha Ferguson

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Rev. Paul Dunn, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Bertha Ferguson was born on January 18, 1919 in Seminole County, Oklahoma to John and Lillian Swick Robertson. She worked at Irwin Greenhouse until her retirement in 1986, and then worked for the Department of Human Services for two years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was active in Bethel and Calvary Baptist Churches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, in 1985, and one son, Kenneth, in 1970. Survivors include two sons, Gary Ferguson, of Portland, Oregon, and Jerry Ferguson, and wife, Peg, of Canyon; two daughters, Linda Lehman, and husband, Mike, of Katy, TX, and Nita Rogers, and husband, Rex, of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
