Barbara Jean Cochran

February 6, 1948 — February 10, 2022

Barbara Jean Cochran, 74, of Amarillo, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Her family finds peace in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Bible Believers Baptist Church with Pastor Glen Stocker officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Barbara was born on February 6, 1948 in Odessa to Edward and Ruth (Moses) DePorter. She married Ted Cochran and they had three children, Chris, Stacey, and Jason. She later married Orris James Ingham. Barbara received her nursing degree from Amarillo College and was dedicated to her work in the Amarillo area.

Barbara was a wonderful mom and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them in their sports and activities. She also loved animals and enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Bible Believers Baptist Church.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby DePorter. Survivors include three children, Chris Cochran and wife, Christie, Stacey Barclay and husband, Bart, and Jason Cochran and wife, Mandy; eight grandchildren, Hannah Bonner, Jacob and Ben Cochran, Jonah and Elizabeth Barclay, and Joseph, Noah, and Chloe Cochran; and two great grandchildren.
