Arthur Jackson

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Trinity Fellowship Chapel with David Lough, minister of University Church of Christ in Canyon officiating. Arthur Jackson was born on October 11, 1945 in Belmont County, Ohio to Arthur and Frances Swaton Jackson. He married Judith Harper on March 19, 1965 in Rockville, Maryland, and they moved to Canyon in 1978. Arthur was a cattle buyer, buying and selling dairy cattle, and was involved with agriculture all of his life. He supported his sons in livestock showing in their younger years and was an avid lover of harness racing. He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Arthur Jackson, in 1998, one sister, and his brother. Survivors include his wife, Judy Jackson, of the home; his son, Bryan Jackson and wife, Tiffany, of Canyon; two grandchildren, Brylie and Jaylen Jackson; three sisters, Cindy Durant and husband, Steve, of Zanesville, Ohio, Debbie Hedges and husband, Chuck, of Carbondale, Ill., and Patti Moore and husband, Larry, of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
