Anna Robinson

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church of Happy with Rev. Curtis House, pastor, and Mike Kuhlman officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas. Ms. Robinson was born on December 17, 1918 in Swisher County to Bee and Alpha Huckabee. She married Dr. Glen Robinson at Happy, He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Happy where she served on numerous committees and taught Sunday School. She was a community leader and helped raise funds for charities. She also served as Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She was a longtime columnist for the Tulia Herald. Survivors include one son, Dr. Bob Robinson, and wife, Cleo, of Canyon; one brother-in-law, Ed Vornsand, of Rosenburg, TX; and one niece, Paulette Maehara, of Chevy Chase, MD. The family suggests memorials be to the First United Methodist Church of Happy, 114 NW Floyd Happy, Texas 79042.
