Andy Hand

Andy Hand, 64, of Washburn, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Joe Neal Shadle officiating.

Andy was born on March 6, 1956 in Canyon to Fay and Nelda Jo (Gillham) Hand. He played football at Happy High School and graduated in 1974. He married Brenda York on October 13, 1989 in Amarillo. Andy worked for Crouse Hinds Company, retiring after 36 years.

Andy enjoyed living life his way and often threw caution to the wind, especially when on his side-by-side ATV. He loved all of his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Hand. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hand of Washburn; his son, Jeremy Hand and wife, Brandy of Canyon; his daughter, Carissa Nath and husband, Tim of Omaha, NE; nine grandchildren, Madison Nath, Cash Hand, Boston Hand, Kadyn Nath, Jett Hand, Lucas Hand, Jaxton Nath, Haven Nath, and Memphis Hand; his sister, Connie Hirsch and husband, David of Canyon; his sister-in-law, Janeal Hand of Lubbock; two nephews, Matt Morrow and wife, Lindsey and Mark Hand of Lubbock; and a great niece and great nephew, Maddie and Conner Morrow.
