Andrea Gordon

Andrea Lee Jones Gordon, 77, of Canyon, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019.  Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Brooks Chapel. Andrea was born September 8, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Aubrey and Margaret Stroup. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. She went to Abilene Christian College where she met and married Grady Jones. They had one son, Aubrey Jones. Andrea later went to Amarillo College where she received her nursing degree. She was a psychiatric nurse at both St. Anthony's and the NWTH Pavilion. On March 12, 1994, she married Ronnie Gordon of Canyon, Texas. She loved to travel and had visited Canada several times. She loved Niagara Falls, the fall foliage in the New England states, and Alaska. She is survived by her husband; son, Aubrey Jones and wife, Xan; step-son Scot Gordon and wife, Nissa; step-daughters Kelly Hjerpe and husband, Paul; Leslie Gordon and Chris Conner; grandchildren Megan Wilson, Peydon Dotson, Taylor Dotson, Kaylee Hjerpe, Rikki Martinez, Nena Gordon, and Lela Gordon; and three great-grandchildren.
