Alice Ruth Malone, 79, of Happy, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Happy Church of Christ with Rick Bloodworth, officiating. Burial will follow at the Happy Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22 at Happy's Memorial Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Alice was born May 18, 1943 in Marshall, Texas to Orville McDaniel and Ruthie Walton. She was a graduate of Hale Center High School. Alice married Albert John "A.J." Malone. They were married for more than 25 years before he preceded her in death.
Alice was a member of the Happy Church of Christ. She loved working in her garden and had quite the green thumb. She enjoyed sewing and was also a very good cook. Alice was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and twelve of her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Vanessa Mahone and husband, Charlie, Evelyn Malone, Paul Malone, and Sherry Malone; her grandchildren, Shaquona, Angelica, Tiandra, Chelseah, A.J., Malik, and Alyse; seven great grandchildren; and four siblings, Carolyn McDaniel, Callie Acquaye, Jeanie Johnson, and Jonathan Davis.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Happy Church of Christ, PO Box 578, Happy, TX 79042.
