Aileene Tucker

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Brooks Chapel with Dr. Kenny Price, pastor of The Summitt, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Aileene E. Tucker was born on August 18, 1922 to Emmett Edgar and Maggie Lena Falls Foster in Petersburg, Texas. She married Fredy Marion Tucker on March 17, 1941 in Clovis, New Mexico. Aileene was a homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing, and playing games with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Aileene has been a resident of Amarillo since 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 9, 1991 and also her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Platt and husband, Tommy of Canyon; son, Ronald Tucker and wife, Jenis of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Krystal Dobbs and husband, J.R. of Phoenix and Melissa Platt of Canyon; two grandsons, Richard Tucker of Oklahoma City, OK and Monty Platt and wife, RoseAnne of Canyon; sister, Marie Kocster and husband, Ed of Sutton, VT; brother, Wamon Foster of Hart, TX; and eight great grandchildren.
