Obituary for Truman Little, Jr.

Truman Little, 66, of Canyon, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Dreamland Cemetery with Steve McLean officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Brooks Chapel.

Truman was born on May 30, 1954 in Waco, Texas to Truman and Lenora (Scarbrough) Little, Sr. He graduated from Kerens High School in Kerens, TX in 1972 and received his Bachelor of Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1980. He married Monica Drennan on May 4, 1973 in Corsicana, Texas and they moved to Canyon eight years ago.

Truman worked for Vought Aerospace for many years and spent the last three years driving a school bus for CISD, a job he loved. He was a member of Canyon Hills Church of Christ and Century Club of A&M. He loved working with his hands and could build or repair anything. He and Monica enjoyed traveling all over the country for many years in their RV and Truman was an avid walker, enjoying his daily brisk walks.

Truman was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Robert Bryan Drennan and Arlene Drennan. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Monica Little; his son, Brian Little and wife, Heather; three grandchildren, Thomas, Andrea, and Jacob Davis; several brothers and sisters; and his beloved dog, Pandy.
