Memorial Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church of Canyon with the Rev. Dr. Don McDonald, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. Tommy Hiliary Marsh died October 31, 2004 in Amarillo. He was born to Hiliary and Lyda Marsh on November 22, 1933 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He attended public schools in Nowata, Electra, Texas and Saint Jo, Texas. In 1975 he moved to Canyon and later to Amarillo. Mr. Marsh was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Canyon. He loved his church and its members. His "hobby" was to travel to area cities for shopping and visiting with people in the stores. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece. Survivors include one sister, Patsy Gaston, and husband, James, of Grandview, Texas; one brother, Fred Marsh, of Amarillo; nephews, Russell Gaston, of Shreveport, LA, and Ross Gaston, of Grandview; nieces, Rosalyn Gaston, of Houston, and Robin Merkel, of Hillsboro; cousins, Kay Arther, of Abilene, Dr. Charles Martin, and wife, Marge, of Perry, OK, and Jo Ann Blackwelder, of Stillwater, OK. The family suggests memorials be to the First Presbyterian Church, 904 19th St., Canyon, Texas 79015, or Baptist St. Anthony"s Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176.
