Obituary for TINA SULLIVAN BUTLER

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2011 at the University Church of Christ in Canyon, with David Lough and Bob Shepard, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2011. Burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Tina was born in Tulia, Texas on November 9, 1974 to the parents of Roosevelt and Lillian Marie Sullivan. She was the fourth child. Tina attended Kress Elementary School and went on to graduate from Kress High School in 1994 where she played basketball, was a cheerleader, and also a member of the Kress High School band. She then attended Amarillo College for two years and was working at Eckerd Photo Lab as a supervisor when she took sick at the age of twenty-seven. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Roosevelt Jackson and Romey Green; one grandmother, Frankie Green; one aunt, Minnie Snead; one cousin, Leandra Jackson and her daughter. Tina left behind a husband of eighteen years, Donnie Butler, of Amarillo, Texas, and two daughters, Kimberly and Brianna, both of the home in Amarillo, Texas; her parents, Roosevelt and Lillian Sullivan; an older brother, Edward Sullivan and wife, Cynthia; and older sister, Tracy (Sullivan) Cooper and her two daughters of the home, Taylor and Honesty Sullivan, all of Canyon; her sister, Regina Ann Sullivan and her daughter Miakia, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, Deshane P. Sullivan, of Fort Lewis, Washington, and his wife, Lola and their daughters, Tianna and Kaylie Sullivan; along with a grandmother, Marie Jackson, of Kress, Texas; and a host of uncles and aunts.
