Steve Nick Krutsch, 55, of Canyon, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Living Water Christian Fellowship with Shane Nease, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery.
Steve was born on September 23, 1966 in Lorain, Ohio to Nick and Carol (Smith) Krutsch. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1984 and married Bobbie Jo Fischbacher in Canyon on June 6, 1986. Steve began as a meter reader for SPS in April of 1988 and worked his way up with XCEL Energy over the next 33 years.
Steve was passionate about cars and enjoyed entering his car in car shows. He was a great husband and father, and dearly loved his grandchildren, who lovingly called him G-Pa. Steve was loved by all who met and knew him. He was member of Living Water Christian Fellowship.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, Patty Smith, Dean Smith, Danny Smith, and Peggy Smith, and his Uncle Marty Krutsch. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Bobbie Joe Krutsch; his children, AJ Krutsch and wife, Kaytlin, Ethan Krutsch and wife Lynda, and Kevon Casel; five grandchildren, Landon, Aubrey, Morgan, Thea, and Riley; his sister, Debbie Krutsch; father- and mother-in-law, Joe and Glennis Fischbacher; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Mark and Valerie Boehning, Jerry and Tracie Hartman, and Joe and Shelly Fischbacher; nephews and nieces, Kinsey and Paisley Fischbacher, Jason and Kendra Boehning, Brent Boehning, Bryan and Tiffany Jackson, Kenny and Krista Wieder, Lance Hartman, and Jason and Amber Nelms; and lots of extended family.
