Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 21 at Brooks Chapel with Deacon Bill Dorsey, officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 22 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Umbarger with Rev. George Kalampatt, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary"s Catholic Cemetery in Umbarger. Stanley Handing was born February 11, 1952 in Canyon, Texas to Anton and Agnes Wink Handing. He was raised in Umbarger and graduated from Canyon High School in 1972. Stanley was a farmer and a rancher. He was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Umbarger, and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Anthony, Robert, Jimmy, and Vernon. Survivors include a brother, Marcus Handing, of Wildorado; three sisters, Genevieve ""Genny"" Keesee, of Amarillo, Mary Kolac, of Tyler, and Ann Schenk, of Wildorado; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
