Sharrell Selvidge of Collinsville, Oklahoma passed away on December 12, 2020 following a battle with cancer. Celebration of life service will be held on December 29, 2020 at 2pm at Happy’s Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at the Wayside Cemetery.

Sharrell was born on May 23, 1943 in Tulia, Texas to William Harry and Zelma Reed Selvidge. He grew up in Happy, Texas and attended Happy schools.

He married Nancy Schrib on July 5, 1962 and they enjoyed over 58 years together.

He spent the majority of his working years in the cattle feeding and ranching industry.

He was a member of First Baptist Owasso in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was an avid reader, enjoyed a good western movie and was always available to lend a helping hand.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Buddy Joe.

Sharrell will be dearly missed by his wife Nancy, sons, Shannon (Renee) of Sterling, Colorado and Cary (Jen) of Castle Rock, Colorado, daughter, Sonya (Todd) Hurley of Owasso, Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Brianna (Ronnie) McBride, Courtney (Taylor) Beam, Caitlin (Fernando) Caballero, Morgan (Chris) Little, Jordyn Noel, Kylie Farris and William Selvidge. Great Grandchildren, Khloe and Raelynn McBride, Noa, Ananiah and Jesse Caballero, Bailey Little, Brylee Beam and an unborn baby boy. A sister Jean Wilkes and several nieces and nephews as well as many cherished friends.

The family suggests memorials to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79101.
