Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Wayside Church with Carl Hamilton and Marcus Bobb officiating. Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery. Samuel Wayne Sluder was born on June 6, 1922 and raised at Wayside, Texas. He was a carpenter and served in the U. S. Airforce. Survivors include one son, Robert T. Sluder, of Richmond, KY; four sisters, Margaret Simpson, of Kingman, AZ, Willora Pryor and Phyllis Mathis, both of Happy; and Wilma Walker and husband, Jeff, of Edgewood, NM; two brothers, Will Sluder and wife, Martha, of Pampa, and Wendell Sluder and wife, Jan, of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.
