Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 30, 2005 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Canyon with Rev. Terry Meyer, officiating. Rick Faver was born September 15, 1953 to Creston Faver and Joyce Faver in Fort Hood, Texas. He graduated from Muleshoe High School in 1972 and attended college at West Texas State University. Rick married Terri Pollreisz on Valentine"s Day, 2005. Rick was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed trips to the mountains of Colorado with his son Trey and wife Terri. Rick devoted his life to being a wonderful father to Trey. They loved to hunt, fish, and compete in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions. Rick never missed an opportunity to support Trey in all academic and athletic activities. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Faver; and a son, Ricky Lee Faver II. Survivors are; wife, Terri Fave of the home; son, Ricky Lee "Trey" Faver III of the home; two steop sons, Brandon Pollreisz and wife, April of Amarillo, TX, and Tony Pollreisz of the home; father, Creston Faver and wife, Louise of Amarillo, TX; mother, Joyce Islas of Mineola, TX; brother David Faver and wife, Anne of Amarillo, TX; sister, Sandra Gallagher and husband, Rich of Winnsboro, TX; two nieces and two nephews. Family asks memorial be sent to Rick Faver Scholarship Fund in care of Bank of America, Canyon, Texas.
