Obituary for Regina 'Gina' Mainville Mitchell

Regina ‘Gina’ Mainville Mitchell, 61, of Canyon, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Shane Nease, pastor of Living Water Christian Fellowship, officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Brooks Chapel.

Gina was born on November 10, 1959 in Henderson, Nevada to Omer and Lura Nell (Prichard) Mainville. She attended Canyon High School. She married Lowell Mitchell on September 3, 1995 in Amarillo and ran the office for the cable company in Canyon. Gina had a passion for taking care of people and was an amazing caregiver to her parents. She loved life and cherished her time with friends and her family, especially her grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed garage sales and collecting angels. Gina was a member of Living Water Christian Fellowship and will be lovingly remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit.

Gina was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Casey Coffey. Survivors include her husband who was the love of her life and her very best friend, Lowell Mitchell; two sisters, Rita Womack and Tina Foster; her son, Charles Mitchell and wife, Kristen; her daughter, Nicci Dencklau and husband Cody; her daughter, Jenni Mitchell; and eleven grandchildren.
