Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Dr. David Lowrie, Jr. and Jason Atchley officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Randy Smith was born on July 10, 1958 in Kingsville, Texas to Robert and Juanita Durivage Smith. He graduated from Aransas High School in 1976 and then graduated from Texas A&M in 1982 with a BS in Agronomy. He married Tonya Deisher in Plainview on July 27, 1985. He was Area Sales Manager for Pioneer Hi-Bred Int. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Smith, one brother, Ricky Smith, and his grandparents, Pat Durivage and Fain and Estelle Smith. Survivors include his wife, Tonya, daughter, Kelsey, and son, Robert Colton Smith, all of the home; his parents, Bob & Linda Smith, of Aransas Pass, TX; one brother, Rusty, and wife, Debra Smith, of Huntsville, TX; step brother, Scott Kaspar, of Austin; grandparents, Ruth Durivage, of Lyford, TX; mother-in-law, Joan Deisher, of Plainview; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Scott and Lisa Horne, of Plainview; and a niece, Lindsey Horne, of College Station.
